In order for a student to be eligible for the Industrial Attachment, he or she must have passed at least 4 units during the course of his or her studies.
Students who begin an industrial attachment and subsequently fail to complete it will not be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management but will be awarded the Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management as an exit award.
Students who choose to source their own industrial attachments and who subsequently fail to secure this will be awarded the Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management as an exit award.
The industrial attachment is considered an integral part of the advanced diploma. In the event that a student cannot be placed in IA, the student will be allowed to complete a 5,000 word project in a maximum of two months.

When students specifically request, they may be given the option of completing the project instead of taking the industrial attachment. The project topic (5,000 words) is set by the school, and students have a maximum of two months to complete the project after it is approved. Students must still meet the same eligibility requirements (4 passes) to participate in the project.
Students must complete and pass all required modules in this course to obtain the Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate.
The student must obtain an overall success rate of 40%. If students fail to achieve an overall passing score of 40%, students will be allowed to retry the test once for each failed assessment and such retest failure will require students to retake the failed unit(s) again in full before attempting an additional retest.
