Students who choose to obtain their own Industrial Attachment and who subsequently fail to obtain it will be awarded the Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management as an Exit award.
The Industrial Attachment is considered as part of the Advanced Diploma. If the student cannot be placed for the IA will allow the student to complete a 5,000 word Project within a maximum period of 2 months.
If students specifically request they may be given the option to complete a Project instead of undertaking the Industrial Annex. The project topic (5,000 words) is given by the School, students have a maximum of 2 months to complete the project after approval. Students must still meet the same eligibility requirements (4 passes) to take the Project.
Students must complete and pass all required modules in this course to receive Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management certification.
