Much less demanding financially and in terms of paperwork than the very expensive UK-based London international tax lawyer I used to establish my tax compliance with the IRS as an “accidental American”. Very helpful indeed with suggestions for blogs and chats discussing how to get rid of the pointless, expensive and tedious charade of filing an annual claim with the IRS.
At first I was nervous about contacting someone to solve my tax problem. But a 20-minute Skype conversation with Olivier Wagner helped me relax and it was easy from that point on. Olivier responded to my questions and emails in a timely manner. Using the form and FBAR file was easy. My tax returns were filed in no time. I would highly recommend to expats or Americans living outside the US.
As an expat living in Canada since 1966, I only became concerned about my US tax filing obligations when I read several news articles in early 2012 about possible penalties for not filing. I had no idea what to do and of course I was worried. I searched online and found Olivier’s site. I contacted him and told my story. He told me what documents he needed to get me on the right track… I sent them to him and he took them from there. Since then, I’ve relied on Olivia every year to keep me in line. I get regular updates on new rules and regulations from Olivier. I feel very comfortable using his services and will continue to do so. Olivier provides excellent service and is very easy to work with. Keep it up Olivier.

What’s worse, even if you, as a US expat, have gone for a while without filing your taxes, no one knows when you will finally find yourself under the scrutiny of the IRS, which can result in consequences ranging from thousands of dollars in fines, to jail time, and with the recent new legislation even losing your passport.
