Not to mention, a new feature at Pinnacle Class is the Rolling Stone Rock Room, which features a live rock band.

A cruise gratuity is a service charge not included in the standard cruise fare, similar to a hotel resort fee. These additional fees are a daily dollar amount per person that is generally automatically billed to all guests across all stateroom categories.

For Holland America Line, this crew incentive costs $15.50 per person per day for non-suites and $17 per day for suites. This fee is payable in advance or is charged daily to your account on board.
Holland America Line will take you to many interesting ports of call. Unfortunately, shore excursions are not included in the cruise fare. These tours and additional experiences can be booked through the cruise line or third-party retailers for an additional fee.

However, all alcoholic beverages and some non-alcoholic beverages incur an additional charge. Non-alcoholic beverages such as specialty coffees, smoothies, fresh juices, soft drinks, bottled water, and energy drinks all incur additional charges.
If you want to enjoy these drinks, consider purchasing a drink package to save money. Holland America Line offers a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options depending on your beverage preference.

The most comprehensive package is the Elite Beverage Package, which includes all drinks under $15, including Dale DeGroff’s original cocktails.

HAL ships feature specialty restaurants including Pinnacle Grill, Rudi’s Sel de Mer, Taramind, Canaletto and Nami Sushi. Wi-Fi is not included in the cruise fare, so you’ll need to purchase an internet package to stay in touch with family and friends. Holland America offers unlimited surf and stream packages for the duration of your sailing, for at least 50% off the daily rate.
The spa on HAL ships offers a variety of treatments including massages, nail services, teeth whitening, hair services, facials, nutritional counseling and personal training.
There is also a thermal suite with heated chaise lounges, steam room, sauna cave and thalassotherapy pool. Thermal Suite Pass can be purchased at a discounted price individually or as a couple.
Finally, other add-ons, such as birthday or anniversary packages or laundry services, also cost extra. Likewise, if you choose to gamble or shop during your cruise, your pockets will be tight.
